Spaghetti with mascarpone a delicious luscious easy quick dish to put together. Surprise unexpected guests.. Kids will love it.
Ingredients for 4 people:
- 1 pound spaghetti
- 4 ounces butter
- 4 ounces ham cut in cubes or strips
- 8 ounces mascarpone
- 1/2 cup parmigiano
- white pepper
In a large pan, on low heat, melt butter and heat ham. Don’t brown.
Then add mascarpone and heat 3-5 minutes stirring constantly with a wooden spoon until you have a smooth creamy mixture, without reaching boiling temperature. Add salt.
Toss pasta into pan. Mix well, adding cheese and pepper. Have some water saved from the pasta if needed. Turn heat off and serve.
Note: don’t heat mascarpone too long or it may get too thin. Cut ham in cubes if you prefer.
