Penne funghi salsiccia e piselli, a nutritious and tasty combination for a good appetite.

 

Ingredients for 4 people:

  • 1 pound penne
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 2 sausages skinned and crumbled
  • 10 ounces mushrooms sliced
  • 6 ounces white wine
  • 1 cup peas
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1/2 cup grated parmigiano

 

Directions:

In a large pan put oil, color garlic, then remove. At medium high heat add sausage, brown about 3 minutes and add musrooms.

Cook until mushrooms release their water and dry up, then add wine.

Let wine evaporate almost completely, then add peas and some water from the pasta for them to cook at low heat about 5-7 minutes.

Add salt and pepper. Pour pasta in the pan. Mix well adding parmigiano and serve.

Note: best mushrooms would be porcini. You could add cream.
