Pasta salad with salmon is a favorite for the substance, the nutrients and the flavor. The addition of yogurt makes the dish very refreshing especially welcome in those hot summer days.


Ingredients for 4 people:

  • 3/4 pound fusilli
  • 12 ounces fresh salmon
  • 1 and 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoon mustard
  • 12 ounces tomatoes chopped small pieces
  • 1/4 of red onion sliced
  • 2 teaspoons fresh dill chopped
  • salt



Cook pasta, drain and cool it.

Poach salmon, remove skin and flake it in rather big chunks. Let it cool. Use a large bowl where you’ll mix everything.

Combine yogurt, lemon juice, mustard and blend together. Add tomatoes, salmon, salt and chopped dill. Toss the pasta and mix everything.


Note: add some milk if mixture or yogurt results too thick. If you like cucumbers,  it would be a good addition.
