Fettuccine alla Salvia

Fettuccine alla salvia such a quick and easy pasta recipe, velvety delicate, satisfying.


Ingredients for 4 people:

  •  1 pound fettuccine
  •  4 ounces unsalted butter
  •  10 fresh leaves of sage
  •  1/2 cup parmesan
  •  salt



About 3 or 4 minutes before draining pasta, put butter and sage leaves in a pan on low heat. Let until butter becomes dark. Turn heat off. Pour drained fettuccine in the pan. Mix well. Add parmesan. Serve immediately.


Note: with fresh homemade egg fettuccine better. Must be fresh leaves of sage. Parmigiano Reggiano will also make a difference. Have some extra on the table. Pepper if desired.
